Zero-shot learning is a machine learning concept: the ability to do something you've never seen before, without training examples. You generalize from everything you've learned and act anyway.

That's what being human feels like right now.

The Premise

We're entering an age where the playbook doesn't exist. AI is rewriting the rules faster than we can adapt. The models are trained on the past - but we are the ones doing zero-shot learning. Figuring out how to be human when the ground keeps shifting.

Every moment is zero-shot if you're actually growing. You've never been here before. There's no training data for your specific situation.

Why This Exists

I have a degenerative condition. Progressive. No cure. The old playbook - hustle, travel, be present, brute-force it - doesn't work for me. My hardware is constrained.

But I'm still convinced there's another way to build something that matters. A way that doesn't require the things I can't do.

This blog is me figuring it out. Not a manifesto. Not a framework. Just thinking in public.
